AUTHOR
Connor Goure has ben traveling the backroads of americas coasts in a converted school bus living and working for the past two years. This unusual lifestyle has allowed him to peak into everyday life on the American streets ranging from Canal st. NYC to the coasts of Oregon Connor has used a myriad of photography techniques to capture images of everyday beauty that typically go unnoticed. Printing his first image in the dark room of green mountain high school Film photography had left its mark sparking a desire to document his journey through life. Connor Frequently shoots first and asks questions later letting the moment and the mood dictate the shot. “Film is a medium that prolongs the high of the shutter click holding your images hostage in a time capsule until you are able to shed the light of day on them. Every time I click the shutter I don’t expect anything to turn out, and I’m pleasantly surprised when the pictures appear.” The act of photography for Connor is a medium in which moments are preserved and immortalized. Keeping most of his photographs private this is Connors first attempt at showing and sharing work with the greater film community.
