ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Sulphur Tuft Fungi. Small group found growing together in woodland. photographed with some of the grass and plant matter from their natural environment. The image was shot on an iPhone XR in a studio environment.

I have found during lock-down that my focus has shifted to the macro, the detail. As my horizons tightened, my work became more studio based.

This image appeals due to the group characteristics - which feel like the mushrooms have a family dynamic. If there was to be a tight-knit fungi family, this is it.

This image is in the fine art category as it is photographed against a backdrop rather than in its natural physical environment and in nature.
