Artist Statement
Ever since I was a kid, I was attracted to the sea. During my formative years, I spent most of my time in the cool Pacific Ocean; searching for hidden life in tidal pools, navigating my way underwater through rich, green kelp forests, and simply observing the natural world. Since then, the ocean has shaped my perspective on creativity, life, and what it means to share our world with other species.
I have devoted my life to explore and contemplate the amazing natural beauty of our world. It is my goal to capture poetic visuals that inspire love and empathy.
Our own well-being is directly linked to the well-being of the entire ecosystem. If we want to have a future on this planet, we need to understand that our lives are interconnected to all living animals and the environment.
