Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2021 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
"Up there, beyond the clouds, where the world of men reaches its limit, the mountain crosses the sky. The path is lost in the rock and the fog hides the edge of the precipice.
Do you hear it? Up here the wind whips the men who are looking for a meaning to their existence.
You see it? Up here the sun burns the eyes of those who wanted to look beyond the horizon.
Poor those who found the border to the gods kingdom up here, and never wanted to return!"
Croda da Lago is a small mountain chain in the central Dolomites in Veneto, northern Italy, just east of the Giau Pass.
