ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Near the top of Haleakala, the highest point in Maui, Hawaii at an elevation above 10,000 feet, I photographed the Milky Way lined up nicely with the road. Using a flashlight to illuminate the foreground, I was able to make the street lines glow brilliantly, serving to draw the viewer in to the the cosmos and beyond.
