ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A morning storm at Onemana Bay, North Island New Zealand

AUTHOR
My first experience of black and white photography after leaving Design School was when I worked for a large advertising agency in Wellington where I developed black and white film and made prints for newspaper reproduction. I eventually worked as the agency photographer producing images in both black and white and colour.

After leaving the agency I joined the scientific staff at the New Zealand Forest Research Institute and worked for 30 years as a science photographer as well as producing a range of research films. Since 2000 I have worked as a freelance photographer.
