ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Cuttlefish are the most amazing calcite landscapes of their former selves.A topography brought to light by careful lighting, showing me the layers laid down by the cuttlefish in their former lives. Squid are amazing, ancient creatures, the cuttlefish a fingerprint of each beast. I find them on the edges of the shoreline, the flotsam and jetsam of their environmental life. Alchemic because they carry ink that became sepia, and camouflage themselves to their moment. I'm immersed in the ecological communities I'm a part of, and my cuttlefish images tie me to my landscape.
