Project Title: People In Line
Image Title: Morning Read, Paris
In our society, period of time and big city reality, an important part of our time is consumed by moving through transfer lines, metro stations, buses and trains. The time we spend trying to arrive someplace could be considered as empty time - a space between events with no exact purpose or identity. In these small spaces, many people come together and cooexist without even looking one another. Worlds colide and meet - but most of the times people in them are ignorant about this fact even happening. We could say, those worlds are connected by single narrow lines that are invisible to the naked eye - during a time that is most of the times considered unimportant.
Through the photographic medium I try to depict this cooexistence and become an only witness of how these empty scenes come to unfold in different parts of Europe. The main objective of this series is observing and connecting the lines between these different worlds and the people who live in them.
