ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Portrait of Kate. Purpose behind this portrait was to show a timeless nature of portraits with flowers. In this photo environment was "dressed" in flowers rather than the subject. Medium format digital camera and shallow depth of field were used to portray timelessness and rawness of the subject. Minimal editing was done to the photograph to make it appear as authentic as possible.

Mateusz Jagiello is the owner and photographer of Silk + Salt Photo boudoir studio.
Born and raised in Poland, since the age of 5 he has been studying music and art. Through the daily practice art became his life.

Photography gives him the freedom to fully express how he sees the world and people in it. Creating images that can be remembered and passed on to the next generations is his true passion.
