ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The story of these guardians of the Amboseli plains is an intriguing tale of legendary elephants that follow ancient paths each sunrise in pursuit of the watery marshlands for life sustaining victuals. Capturing this sacred trek from an immersive perspective was a challenge as I worked out the logistics of achieving this image in my mind. I wanted to encapsulate the colossal size of these elephants as they quietly tread along this dry landscape in the elegant manner only elephants do, setting the canvas this morning as three bull elephants walked directly in line with my camera. All of the elements encompassing the approaching trio bring this captivating image to life. It was a sensational morning spent in the presence of these iconic elephants.

For I have been lucky on so many levels to live my dream and share my encounters and the stories that go along with them to those who's hearts yearn for adventure. My images are an extension of my heart and its been an amazing ride that I hope to continue for many years to come."
