ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Los Angeles, like most cities, has wonderful architecture. While driving down Wilshire Boulevard, this condo building came into view. It had a surreal quality to it. The steel balconies set against the glass gave the impression of an optical illusion; a trompe l'oeil façade. I opted for a heightened contrast as a way to strengthen the repeating patterns and symmetrical nature of the building’s design.
