ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The attraction of this image is this typical Provençal street. One can appreciate the typical architecture of this region with the wooden shutters on the houses and the meandering road complete with flowers and speed bumps. The eye is led down the road, through to the church at the end.

I have always loved photography. What I really enjoy is taking images that first and foremost appeal to me. They must always evoke a memory of a past event or an experience - the coldness of the snow, the taste of coffee, the smell of a perfume, the music which was playing at the time and most importantly, family and friends. To me, photography is a true art form which must have an emotional connection.

I have a fairly eclectic style. Basically, if I like it, I'll shoot it.

Photography for me is a journey of continual innovation and improvement - always striving to be better and trying to look at things in a different way - the inspiring moment, a dash of the unexpected and a hint of the unknown.
