ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I am always on the search for new Ideas to setup for my wetplate photography. walking through the vegetable section of food stores, I try to combine and find any ideas that make a good Idea first. Then tweak it sometimes to get even my attention not to go too far with my fantasies. This one came up quite spontaneously. It's important for me to get peoples look not once but twice to make sure they actually realize what they just looked at. This is the challenging part for me, which makes it not easy even go get any of these ideas to make them work and awake emotions on both sides.
23x23cm ambrotype on 3mm glass, backed with asphaltum to get it's rich black behind the silver. (colldion wetplate process)
AUTHOR
Farid Laid is a autodidact Photographer who startet in his early years with analog photography. Since 2019 after he visited a wetplate workshop, his whole view of making images changed drastic and started to turn into more artistic work. More thoughts more planning and not just "making" images.
