ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The eye of a hurricane is spectacular for its peace and quiet, sunshine and fair weather. I opted for a high key image of the singular window of the Broad Museum in LA to capture the feeling of being in the eye of the storm. The vibrant white evokes the sun while the wavy architecture hints at the winds of a hurricane and dark shadows symbolizing the violent rain.
AUTHOR
As an introvert, photography is my language of choice. I photograph the world as I experience it – with joy, awe, surprise and humility. I love to wander! I search for sights that speak to me. I began traveling at twenty, taking snapshots along the way. And, I've never stopped. Forty years later, I'm still taking photos. While my skills have been honed, my interest in a range of subjects has only broadened. From landscapes to candid portraits, architecture to street scenes, I embrace the wonder of the world.
