HP5 Ilford Plus Black and White Film

In a time when human beings are trying to capture themselves through snapshots of their faces, in this analog photo, I am exploring the true meaning of the self-portrait of a photographer.

AUTHOR
I am an Edmonton-based serious amateur photographer. My father taught me how to use a camera when I was very young. He also taught me the basics of photography. Since then, I have learned photography from other resources such as books, workshops, video tutorials, and other visual arts.

I primarily work with digital cameras. But I also use various film cameras, as I enjoy the analog process.

Black and white fine art photography is my preferred genre. Using black and white photography, I attempt to explore the meaning behind visuals. In my studio, I work with human models. As a travel photographer, I also capture natural scenes and street imagery.

Through my photography, I strive to capture the unseen in visual form.
