ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Cherie is reclaiming her body, and herself. She has sculpted her body through exercise, tattooed herself extensively, and is now asserting herself in her relationships. She is proud of what she has accomplished.

AUTHOR
People fascinate me. I am curious about how they think, feel, live, work and relate to the world around them. For many years I worked as a psychotherapist, using words to help people deal with their emotions, relationships and traumas.

As a photographer, my vocabulary has changed from the verbal to the visual, from words to images. I now focus on people who use their physicality, their bodies and their actions, to communicate and tell their story. The camera enables me to translate their narratives into the accessible and universal language of photography.
