ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Along Upper Ranchitos Road in Taos, New Mexico (USA), there are scattered about small pockets of wetlands; reeds, cat tails, thistles, along with the creatures that usually inhabit such places.
It was after the bloom and the remaining stalks still held the remains of the plants that had contributed to the color and beauty of the area earlier in the year. I found a small group of thistles that had become home to small spiders and other small insects. The heads were in pristine condition. Using my computer, I re-imagined my images into what, to some, resembles more a painting than a photograph.
