ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photo "Loneliness" was the impetus for the birth of a new project in which I analyze human feelings and show them the inside out. With this work, I wanted to show what happens to a person when he is completely alone. It "freezes in time", becomes covered with dust, like something unnecessary and forgotten on the farthest shelf of a large closet. And there is no one next to him who could brush away this dust, take care of him. The handprints represent the traces of the presence of another significant person once in his life. A person needs a person, everyone needs care and support.
AUTHOR
My name is Anna Borovikova. I started my way in photography in 2018. Then everything was filmed on the phone, which is always with me. But in winter,2019, I picked up my father's camera. It was an old Canon EOS 600D. When I first tried to shoot on camera, I realized that a simple hobby grows into something more. And in April I got my own camera, newer – Canon EOS 200D. I began to shoot more actively, took the camera with me for walks or just held photo shoots for friends. In the fall of 2020, I began to study photography under the guidance of experienced photographers. At the same time, I enrolled in a photo course at the Distant People's University of Art (ZNUI) in Moscow, and in summer 2022 I graduated with honor. currently I m a first-year student of the Faculty of Photography at the International College of Arts and Communications (ICIC) in Moscow.
For me, photography is much more than just a picture. This is a little story that is told through a certain image, light and much more. In my photos, I try to display something through images, not directly. I want to share with the audience my vision of the world and my view of simple things. Each of us sees everything by his or her own way.
