ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I am always fascinated by the plissé texture of poppy blooms that unfold - like parachute silk - from the hairy flower capsule. The otherwise bright colors of the flowers give way to a focus on the structure of the petals by creating a black and white photo. The shot was taken with natural light on my sideboard.
AUTHOR
Photography has always been something that fascinates me and is part of my creativity.
My own garden and the meditative work with plants turned my interest to flower and garden photography a few years ago. Here I find balance to work and relaxation in looking at the models in the garden through the lens from ever new angles.
