Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2022 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The moment I walked up this wet and sandy beach and saw this curve, I knew I had to do something with it. The harsh backlight proved a difficult obstacle but I took a few shots anyway. Back home, it took me a couple of months before I finally discovered what my brain has been trying to tell me. From then, the image was post-processed in a few minutes. Goes to say that you always have to trust your instinct, although it may take a while.
AUTHOR
I am a keen photographer of fine art landscapes and architectural subjects. I have a distinct preference for black&white photography but will apply colors when I feel this adds something to the image.
