ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A river running through the black volcanic landscape of the highlands of Iceland. I chose a slightly long exposure to create the smoothing of the small section of rapids in the foreground. In the distance is a black volcanic sand dune. It is an otherworldly landscape and I will return there. This was taken in September 2022.

AUTHOR
I'm a keen amateur photographer with a passion for minimalist images. This kind of photography allows me to create and quite frankly escape a little bit from 'reality.' I live in rural North Wiltshire in the UK but through my job I have the opportunity to travel far and wide. I particularly like seascapes but dabble in all kinds of landscape. Currently use Fuji GFX kit.
