Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2022 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is a view of Hangman's Island, the small conical rock, between Bryher on the left and Tresco on the right. These are part of the Isles of Scilly of the west coast of Cornwall in the UK. They did hang criminals from this rock in days past. It was a gloomy and thunderous day but I liked the way that certain waves were lit-up in the foreground in the contrasting light. This was taken in September 2022
AUTHOR
I'm a keen amateur photographer with a passion for minimalist, abstract and otherworldly images. This kind of photography allows me to create and quite frankly escape a little bit from 'reality.' I live in rural North Wiltshire in the UK but through my job I have had the opportunity to travel far and wide. I particularly like seascapes but dabble in all kinds of landscape. Currently use Fuji GFX kit.
