ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The early morning clouds were hugging the French mountains in Haute Savoie with the sun trying to break through. Then the clouds started to break over Les Brasses. This was the image I wanted - wispy and very fine clouds hanging on and around the mountain top, with a cloak of heavy more textured and dense cloud around the base giving an almost three dimensional feeling to it.

I have always loved photography. What I really enjoy is taking images that first and foremost appeal to me. They must always evoke a memory of a past event or an experience - the coldness of the snow, the taste of coffee, the smell of a perfume, the music which was playing at the time and most importantly, family and friends. To me, photography is a true art form which must have an emotional connection.

I have a fairly eclectic style. Basically, if I like it, I'll shoot it.

Photography for me is a journey of continual innovation and improvement - always striving to be better and trying to look at things in a different way - the inspiring moment, a dash of the unexpected and a hint of the unknown.
