Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2022 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I have photographed this volcano, which is the highest mountain in Spain, on many occasions, but this day I was surprised by the clouds that seemed like a blanket that was going to cover it, which lasted barely 20 minutes.
The National Park is visited by 4 million people a year and in 2020, 70,696 people accessed the Teide crater. The human footprint, climate change, low rainfall and natural erosion are affecting plant and animal species that lives in this natural park, some of them threatened.
