ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This foto was taken on the Maltees island Gogo.

The salt-pans of Xwejni have bin use since Roman times.
A natural maze of narrow dams with salt water in them.
The whole gives a surrealistic impression.

AUTHOR
In 1992 I graduated at the vocational school Schoonhoven. After my study I started working as an independent entrepreneur and opened my own atelier. My work as a goldsmith includes designing and manufacturing gold and silver jewellery, whether or not provided with diamonds, pearls and/or other gemstones.
In addition to taking photographs of my jewellery, I am also working on nature- and landscape photography in my spare time. My field of expertise is taking photographs of fungi.
My profession balances between artist and craftsman, where beauty and craftmanship meet.
For me, taking a photograph is equivalent to creating a jewel.
