Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2022 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Walking along the beach at Bamburgh, I set up my camera and prepared to take a picture of the castle. Before I pressed the button to take the photograph, I noticed a small hut tucked into the grassy sand dune and decided to change my position and include the hut in the foreground. As the light broke through the clouds lighting up the castle I knew this was the time to capture this image.
AUTHOR
I am an amateur photographer from Leeds. I have been interested in photography ever since I went on a colleague trip to Barcelona and happened to be the student without an SLR camera. After seeing the quality of the pictures they were taking I know I had to get one. The following Christmas I received a canon camera. I enjoy the creative process when taking and developing an image. I hope to inspire people to get out and enjoy the landscape.
