ENTRY DESCRIPTION
My photo is about looking for a moment of rest, carefree and a bit of joy. These moments are very important in everyone's life. They give us strength to continue, sometimes even to arrange everything in our lives anew, which is extremely difficult and exhausting. The inspiration for this photo was not only the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but also real people. In the frame I immortalized a model I met of Ukrainian origin, who became my inspiration. I consciously anonymized her, focusing on dandelions, which for me are a symbol of freedom, and exposing the tattoo on the ribs "муза", which means "muse".
AUTHOR
I'm a photographer from Poland and I'm 27 years old. My favourite types of photography are feminine portraits and nudes, in which I specialize. I love naturalness, and I am delighted with the female body all the time. The basis for creating my photos is form and light. I do not deal with photography professionally, but it is my greatest passion. I am constantly looking for my way in it and I try to make each next photo the best one. In analogue photography, I was captivated by the process of creating an image, celebrating a ritual related to film development, as well as the unpredictability of the final result. I take photos using the traditional Japanese medium format camera, Mamiya RB67 Pro-S.
