ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Created as a cooperation of learning and discovery between myself and a new model.
We explored the use of a lense sphere as a medium for a low-key photoshoot.
Using only a simple soft continuous light source, I placed the spphere in various positions on the model's body and captured the effect of the distortion of the light and image it produced.
AUTHOR
Self-taught photographer, I have been pursuing my passion for the visual arts since high school. I officially started doing photography contracts in 2016, and I'm always looking to expand my portfolio and techniques with all types of photography and courses.
My artistic eye also extends to sketches, graphic novels and concept drawings, all of which have helped me develop my sense of observation and detail.
My passion for photography led me to develop skills in portrait photography, wedding photography, special events such as baptisms and birthdays to name a few. Using the Unposed style I capture the emotion of an event trying to capture the story rather than just posing.
I also dabbled in astrophotography and drone photography. Both have their own challenges and equipment. Obtaining the appropriate licenses and certifications was surely a great way for me to expand my knowledge.
When I'm not doing a contract, I'm busy in my studio working on art projects of all types, mostly working with models in co-op sessions and learning more tricks of the trade.
I am happy to be able to share with you what I have learned and to show the evolution of skills through my galleries.
