ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Far Rockaway in Queens NY was the home of many of the first responders who died on 9-11. This is a picture of a policeman, with head bowed, at a 9-11 memorial service on a Far Rockaway beach in 2020.

AUTHOR
I am an amateur photographer, who has been taking photographs for 50 years. My first photography teacher was Walker Evans (I took a college course from him). My pictures tend to be stark and simplified, so black and white is a good medium for me.
