ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photograph was taken at the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau with an elevation of 4000 meters. The square pieces of white paper on the mountain is known as “Wind Horse”. It is a symbol of good fortune and has Tibetan scriptures and a drawing of a winged horse on it. In the ceremony, people would throw the Wind Horse into the air and the wind would delicately carry it down and across the vast landscape. It was truly a magical moment to experience and remember.

I am a student photographer who grew up in Canada and now studies photography and film in the US. Ever since a child, I have always been fascinated by the medium of photography. I officially picked up a professional camera in 2018, and since then, I have continued to pursue my goal of capturing delicate moments in time.
