ENTRY DESCRIPTION
On a warm autumn day, I wanted to catch the last few rays of sun that peeked through the aging pine trees in our yard. I asked my daughter to pose for me in her piano recital dress but she refused to wear shoes. This is an available light portrait, and I love that she had to stand on a log for her face to reach the thin beam of sunlight.
