ENTRY DESCRIPTION
All my work is on film, and printed in a darkroom. In Cape Town, I took pictures of people in their own environment. Most of them had no other pictures of themselves, so I re-visited them and gave them an 8 x 10 print, which they seemed to appreciate.

This woman had three boisterous children, and had to cook meals on a Primus stove on top of a chest of drawers, as they had no kitchen. The pressures of her life are obvious.

Whilst I did struggle a bit to create digital images for this submission, I am able to supply much higher resolution files if I'm fortunate enough to be selected for an award.
