ENTRY DESCRIPTION
After the early death of her husband, my grandmother had to take care of the small farm alone with her young children. The hard, deprived and laborious life is impressively reflected in every corner of her face, but does not hide the loving character of this strong woman.
This picture was taken in 1986, monochrome on Ilford HP5 and selfdeveloped by push-processing.

AUTHOR
My name is Gerhard Schorr, I'm from Saarland in Germany and I've been taking photos since I was a teen. Since then I have steadily expanded and modernized my equipment, but it is still only a hobby for me. Nearly always I have my camera with me and release the shutter as soon as a worthwhile subject comes in front of my lens.
