ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Taken in the highlands of Papua New Guinea in 2019.

AUTHOR
Born in Zurich in 1966, I discovered my interest in photography at the age of 14 and completed my training as a photographer at the Accademia in Rome. I tried different genres of photography for inspiration, and found it in an old article about the photographer Franco Pinna, entitled "The Man Who Photographs Thoughts". From then on, like Pinna, I tried to capture the personality of the individual, their true colors. The basis of my work is respect for the motif and the desire not to change anything, not to add anything, to embellish anything.
Showing people in their essence and their unique beauty has always been the standard on which my photographic work is based.
