Details first. Image made with a Ricoh GRIIIx (40mm equivalent focal length) with Hard monochrome JPEG setting. Image was not cropped or edited further. Location of image : Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Image made on15th October 2022.
The road markings seemed redolent of crop circles in a way which both fascinated and puzzled me as to how to work it into a composition. Serendipity or perhaps patience brought a passerby with a lit cigarette and the pieces came together.
I felt there was nothing to add or subtract from the final image. It doesn't happen often but when it does oh my.
