ENTRY DESCRIPTION
My home town Toowoomba is located on the top of the Great Dividing Range in Queensland, Australia and dues to this is prone to foggy days. On this particular day I was scouting town when I drove passed the Toowoomba Grammar School who were hosting a cricket match with another school.
Walking the boundary of the field I came across this lone fields man with the centre pitch behind him. The fog adds an element of mystery and isolation.
The title "Bad Light" is a term given when the umpires stop play due to the lighting conditions so as to protect the batsmen from being hit by the ball being bowled.
AUTHOR
I am an amateur photographer who resides in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. I did start a tertiary course in photography however I did not complete it so primarily I am self taught.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 12 months with the Fuji x100v and photographing the streets of Brisbane and Toowoomba.
I rely on my intuition in making that "magic moment" on the streets. The content available on the streets is endless and it is fascinating to watch people interact with others and their environment.
