ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Amboseli has been undergoing a drought for the past three years. This has created a significant distance between the elephants primary food sources and water. Each day the herds undertake a 30km round trip between their water and food sources. In this scene they're crossing the dried up lake bed of Lake Amboseli.

AUTHOR
I was interested in photography as a teenager and took it up again after retiring. I do mostly wildlife and travel photography. I've become very interested in the gradations of light which are possible with black and white.
