ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Rhinos are endangered animals and it is very special to see 1 in the wild. I was lucky enough to view three up close from an eye level underground hide. I spent the night in the hide and was stunned to see three rhino approaching the waterhole. Night photography is a challenge on its own but to capture moving subject at night makes it even more challenging. I managed to capture the three rhinos and there reflections at 1/125 of second at f4 with a 16-35mm lens at 22mm. I have not been so nervous and excited at the same time taking wildlife images than that evening. The conversion to black and white was an obvious choice for me as it adds to the drama and danger of the scene and moment - to view three rhinos so close was a dream come true.
