"Liquid Soul" invites you to free-diving into the nebulae of dissolution, with macro photography as the main tool.
“I use milk, paint or inks that I inject directly into the water of an aquarium. My shots are the result of patient experimentation, influenced by Berenice Abbott's researches on physical and chemical phenomena in the 1940s.
My work on the lighting makes it possible to highlight strange and dreamlike forms that only last the moment of the shot before dissolving, and which the eye sometimes cannot even catch.
Frameless vibrant textures organically emerge and are sometimes accompanied by a multitude of threads, giving the appearance of vaporization. »

AUTHOR
Photographer-Visual artist based in Paris born in 1981, he has been practicing photography since the 2000s. Passionate about film photography, he devoted the beginning of his career to a creative and intuitive project with the Rayogram technique, inspired by the artist Man Ray. He offers through his creations a primitive photography that plunges the viewer into the heart of the material. For a few years now he has been working on a big series called Liquid Soul. Through his digital photographs, he offers a real explosion of colors and shapes, his work explores both solid matter and liquids that he then mixes to make an abstract photograph.
