ENTRY DESCRIPTION
For this personal work, I tried to depict the night by painting the model's body in black color. The makeup of gems and the difference between the black color and the light skin tone symbolize the moonrise, when the day is replaced with the dark sky filled with stars. It is designed and photographed in to represent the moment when the sky is waiting for the moonrise.

My name is Seyed Ahmad Beheshti, aka Arash Beheshti. I am a multi-award winning Photographer, experienced Graphic Designer and passionate Creative Director. I started working in the advertising industry as a full-time graphic designer and advertising manager in 2002 right after getting my diploma in Graphics. As I continued my education with a B.A. in Design, I discovered the strong relationship between advertising and photography. With the help of my prior knowledge of film photography, I soon learned and mastered digital commercial photography.
