ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Exploring connection through the contrasting tones of human skin and Tasmanian Bull Kelp.

Photographed down the road from where I call home at Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania; there was once a thriving Giant Kelp Forest close to where this image was taken.. it has now completely disappeared due to climate change. My aim with this work is to highlight the vulnerabilities of both the human figure as well as the bull kelp. Suffering from severe mental health issues its also a tribute to my own personal isolation and darkness.
