Alberto Maccari was born in Rome and raised in Milan. He stepped behind the camera after two decades working as Creative director for international advertising agencies and lingerie brands which shaped his conceptual and sensual approach to photography.

Alberto’s eye for female beauty has been recognised by several art nude magazines (Normal, Lions, Boudoir) and by international awards for his unique composition, grace and sensuality. The adjective most often used to describe his pictures is feminine.
