ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This portrait was taken during a photo session with Swanz the Lonely Cat, banjoist, singer, composer and frontman of Dead cat in a Bag.
The studio Plastikwombat-Photography, art and concept is in charge of curating the photographic image of Swanz.
The peculiarity of this portrait is that was robbed by the photographer while Swanz was thinking we were about to take a break.
It is not included in his official promotional material because instead of matching his public figure, reveals his sweetness and humanity and a more intimate relationship with the eye behind the camera.
Swanz, heavily dislikes this portrait.

AUTHOR
Silvia Vaulà was born in 1976 in Turin.

After graduating and getting her Ph.D, from 2001 she works as a physics researcher in DESY Hamburg (Germany) and IFT Madrid (Spain).

In 2009-2011, while living in Madrid she studies at EFTI, Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine.

In 2012, she comes back to her hometown and starts her new life as a photographer, in her own studio, named Plastikwombat, Photography, art and concept, later including videoclip works.
Since 2015 Plastikwombat is included in the “Circuito degli Studi d'Artista” published by MiBACT (Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e Turismo).
