ENTRY DESCRIPTION
As we step into the world of experiences and fly down to witness, learn and live the life of a Kashmiri local, in the northern belt of Kashmir, India, something a person cannot miss is the Shikara ride at Nigeen Lake that takes you around to live the beauty of nature at it's best. We meet Akbar, the owner of the boat Pahaari who had taken us on our much awaited Shikara ride and this portrait was shot while he was parking his " Shikara " so we could hop in and experience the Dal market.

Arif Minhaz is a conceptual Fashion and Portrait photographer based out of New York City. His work is monochromatic, dramatic and incorporates traditional and contemporary elements of style and fashion. He has been a wedding photographer for over 4 years in India before moving to the city to pursue his career as a portrait photographer.
