AUTHOR
Dieter Demey is a landscape, nature, architecture and reportage photographer based in Enghien (Edingen) in the Walloon Region of Belgium, near Brussels. He was born in 1982 in Jette. In 2012 he bought his first camera and a little later he joined a photo club in Geraardsbergen. He has studied photography at LUCA School of Arts, campus Narafi, where he graduated in 2023.
His work is a continuous search to minimize reality into containable elements, structuring it so that only the essence remains. To reinforce this, he works mostly in black and white. Frequent subjects in his work are architecture and nature. He also makes reportages and short films.
