Architecture: Honorable Mention 2023 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
One day I went to take pictures during sunrise in Dubai. However, the morning was cloudy and I couldn't get the picture I wanted. On the way back to the hotel, I noticed a lonely cloud slowly moving towards Burj Khalifa. Luckily for me, I had a telephoto lens in my inventory that day. I set the camera on a tripod and pointed it at the tallest building in the world. Literally at the last moment I managed to set all the parameters in my camera, when the cloud was exactly above the Arabian tower. In my opinion, this image looks like a huge syringe which intends to jab a needle into a fluffy cloud.
AUTHOR
My adventure with photography began in 2007. Initially, I focused solely on nature and landscape photography. Over time, I also started to deal with wedding and architecture photography. What's more, thanks to photography, I liked traveling and discovering new places that I hadn't known before. In 2010, I managed to win my first more important award, namely, I became a laureate of the Grand Competition of National Geographic Poland. Later, there were more awards and honorable mentions, both in national and international competitions, such as Chromatic Awards and Monochrome Awards.
Photography is an inseparable part of my life. Thanks to it, I can constantly develop my passions and capture fleeting moments in photos.
