AUTHOR
Dutch’s photographic education is a self-taught one, exploring all aspects of image making. His experience spans several decades with large format cameras, film developing and eventually digital image processing. Printing one’s own images and seeing that image on paper is what gives Dutch great joy and satisfaction, and even more joy when framed and hung on the wall for a viewer’s enjoyment. Black and White images are the core of his artistic endeavors along with his newfound experience creating dramatic images that incorporate the full range of tones from white to black.

Entering competitions is one of the ways that Dutch pursues his passion to be a better photographer. There is always something new to learn or a different way to succeed at accomplishing one’s goals.
