ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Sapinusies (Tangled). Hair

This project begins at the time when the war in Ukraine begins and when I myself was without hair due to illness. I have been photographing people with long hair in Latvia and other parts of the world for a year.This project is about hair as a symbol of beauty and strength that is shared throughout the world. currently, about 40 people of different nationalities (Latvians, Estonians, Poles, Ukrainians, Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Khmers, Vietnamese) have been photographed in the project and the project continues...

AUTHOR
I was born in Latvia. I started taking photographs 15 years ago, and over this time my pictures have been exhibited in Latvia, Russia, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Vietnam, China, Israel, Italy, Scotland, Mexico and Portugal.
I am a member of the Jelgava Society of Artists.
