ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I love the Japanese Anemones I grow in my garden and I especially like the back of the flowers. I placed these against the light so that the detailed texture of the petals was enhanced. This also emphasises the fragile beauty of the flowers.

AUTHOR
I photograph flowers I have grown myself in my garden and allotment. Beyond the simple enjoyment of this process it allows me to choose more unusual plants than I can buy at a shop. I particularly love the detail more easily brought out in monochrome pictures.
