ENTRY DESCRIPTION
DIVA (Á) (Czech translation: diva = goddess, divine; divá = untamed, passionate). Božena Němcová, a romantic Czech writer of the 19th century, mother of four children, whose views on love, emotions, marriage and child-bearing were revolutionary in her own time, even more revolutionary. At the beginning was this idea. A glimpse into her soul....the Goddess. Emotional storms and the search for love.
The work reveals non-conceptual approach, enhanced by tendencies to seek out extreme uncomfortable climatic conditions, and presents a very intimate set of photographs capturing often only a fleeting state of mind.
